Short description of project:
The project was completed by exchanging methodologies, best practices and experiences of the European and Pakistani experts on governance, and regulatory issues. European and Pakistani consultants worked together in designing, developing, and implementing an Electronic Directives Management System at the CM Secretariat, I&C Department, and all Departments within the Government of Punjab.
The administrative reforms coupled with the use of the latest Information Communications Technology, enables the top-level administration to monitor departmental efficiency for quality and faster service delivery to the citizens. Additionally, the outcome of the project provides increased awareness and improved access to information on important economic and public administrative matters, for effective and efficient decision-making. Availability of integrated and updated information has resulted in workflow and process improvement, and helped achieve better control over these processes.
