Complete Case Management
Docwerx allows complete Case Management, with all documents for the case, electronic linkages for references to other documents, noting and remarks by officers on the case, and a complete workflow history of the case, in one location. Users can drill down into a case, and get its associated information in seconds.

Search Electronic and Paper Documents
Docwerx search engine locates documents & files from its database, based on key attributes, including words in the key fields of the document, or even content of the scanned images of the documents using Docwerx's OCR engine. To find a document, users may enter a specific keyword, or use the index menus, to take advantage of the powerful Search features, which processes a user-defined document query based on the criteria selected.

Supports multi-format documents
Paper or non-paper documents and files, including digital images of documents in various formats and electronic files can be stored.

Web enabled architecture
The application is fully web enabled, which means that it can be hosted at a centralized Data Center, and accessed by Governmental users from any Ministry or Department, through a secure Internet connection (VPN).

Faster and easier information input
Information is easily stored using the document information data entry forms. Links to other documents can be directly attached to the form to enable easy and quick access to other related documents.

Unique Document Number
Document Description, including key date and address fields, document type, document status, etc.

Automatic e-mail notifications
Docwerx also provides an automatic e-mail notification feature to allow users to send e-mail, and forward a document that requires action, to the employee assigned to take action.

Easy navigation between related documents
Documents related to each other can be "linked together". Users can click on the link to switch and view the other related documents. Users can create comments on a document, and create links for references to various other documents, enabling easy reading for other users.

Can be integrated with existing applications
Since the system is based on an open web-based architecture, the Docwerx system can be integrated with existing applications.

Secure Access and Archival
The system can be configured for user group and user level security, e.g. rights limited to viewing, editing etc.  Regular database backup routines ensure permanent electronic archival of all documents and files, both scanned copies of paper documents and electronic ones.

Multi-user access
Several users can use the application and access the same information at the same time.
