ICT Architecture

Software architecture refers to the high-level organizational structure of a software system. e-Governance ICT Architecture is based on concepts, principles and standards that are followed to build ICT Tools.

Software architecture describes the system as a whole, the purpose of building the system, and structure and components of the system. It also describes how different components of the system interact with each other. One of the major components of the Architecture is the e-Governance Standards.

The architecture of the system is explained using three different views, namely the logical view, the implementation view and the deployment view of the system.

Logical View Describes the logical entities and layers of the different functional parts of the system and their interactions.
Implementation View Maps the logical entities onto the actual implementation components.
Deployment View Details which layers constitute the system and how these layers interact with each other.
